Glasgow station re-opens after inferno horror

SCOTLAND’S busiest station will partially reopen today after the devastating fire that will see an adjacent building demolished.

But passengers using Glasgow Central upper level are being warned it will “look different”.

The fire broke out in a nearby vape shop on the afternoon of March 8, leading to the station being shut and numerous train services affected.

‘The low-level Argyle Line has been running since last Wednesday, but the bulk of services have been cancelled, leaving many communities without a direct link to the city.

However, Network Rail has confirmed some services will run from the upper level from today with platforms seven to 15 opening.
