Flat Forest suffer a collective down day

NEW Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche blamed a “collective down day” and a “really poor decision” after his side lost 2-0 to high-flying Bournemouth in his first English Premier League contest in charge.

Forest failed to build on momentum generated by their Europa League win on Thursday, their first across all competitions since August, after goals from Marcus Tavernier, inset, and Junior Kroupi lifted the Cherries to second place.

Tavernier’s opener, direct from a corner, did not arrive without controversy as he may have been the last to touch the ball before the set-piece was awarded.
