UK firms are turning to work-from-home South Africans and East Asians to dodge tougher workers' rights and Labour's £20billion tax raid on firms.

Firms dodge Reeves tax raid with overseas 'WFH' teams

PM Sir Keir Starmer wants to “put working people’s priorities first” while welfare cuts are meant to encourage people back into the workplace.

But more service firms appear to be opting for workers overseas to fill roles which may not be covered in Office for National Statistics data, which this week showed UK unemployment to be at its highest in over three years and vacancies dropping lower.

Recruitment company The Legends Agency, which has seen annual revenues surge from £300,000 to £7.2million, hires in South Africa for UK companies.
