Figures show Labour has flunked asylum challenge

LABOUR has failed to solve Britain's asylum crisis and is simply moving people around the country instead of tackling the small boats scandal.

The latest figures show that there are still more asylum seekers housed in hotels than when Sir Keir Starmer came to power in July 2024.
Another 68,538 were in privately rented houses and flats — an increase of 7,000 since the election.
The situation is a mess, with 100,625 people claiming asylum last year.
