WHEN a disabled, older woman struggling with breathing difficulties came up against the iron rod of officialdom, Crusader did hope sympathy and flexibility would come to her rescue.
Because of her mobility problems car driver Kathy Gray, a long time sufferer of pulmonary fibrosis, known as lung scarring, is an approved Blue Badge holder. As well as making parking easier it frees her to get out and about more which does wonders for her mental health.
“It has made such a difference to my life, but I never take it for granted,” Kathy stressed when asking for our help recently after she received a private parking fine for overstaying her allotted time in a railway station car park.
