Devastated wife pays tribute to tragic fan

THE wife of a Rangers fan who was killed in Istanbul last week has paid tribute to a “hard-working, devoted family man”.
Dad-of-three Chris Potter, 40, was described as “Mr Duke Street” by wife Holly, who said her husband “touched the lives of everyone he met”.
Chris was in the Turkish capital to watch the Light Blues face Fenerbahçe in the last 16 of the Europa League on Thursday, March 6. He was killed after being struck by two vehicles as he crossed a road near his hotel just hours before his heroes recorded a 3-1 win.
Players from both sides wore black armbands during the match while tributes were laid at the spot where Chris died.
Holly, 38, has now opened up on her loss, saying: “We are all absolutely devastated by the news about Christopher. He was a hard-working, devoted family man who always had time for those close to him.”
