Connor can't offer a case for Livi's defence

The Premiership’s bottom team were hit for six by a rampant Aberdeen.

It was an unhappy return for former Dons attacker McLennan and he knows Davie Martindale's Lions must stop conceding.

The 48 they have shipped in the space of 23 league games is five more than second-bottom Kilmarnock.

He said: “Pittodrie is a tough place to come for us. Normally we would be happy scoring two goals - but to concede six is criminal.

“We need to cut that out completely but it’s just not happening at the minute.”

Livi fell behind inside 10 minutes, only to battle back to go 2-1 up with McLennan involved in teeing up Mahamadou Susoho and Robbie Muirhead,

He added: “I was just trying to get my two shots on target. They got blocked but thankfully we've got a couple of players following up on that.”
