'Common gene link' to misery of ME

GENETIC differences may increase some people’s risk of developing ME, the world’s largest study of the condition has found.
Around 404,000 people in the UK are thought to live with ME, or chronic fatigue syndrome, which causes extreme tiredness and other debilitating symptoms. Sufferers sometimes face stigma in the form of disbelief, judgment or denial of their illness.
