STEVE CLARKE is facing a Scotland conundrum that he hasn't had to ponder for a while - should he rip up a winning formation to squeeze Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney into the same starting line-up?

With Tierney's last cap coming against Switzerland at the Euro 2024 finals, it's a dilemma the national manager hasn't given much thought to since last June.
In the intervening months, Clarke has recalibrated his side, switching from a five at the back to a four, all in the name of progression and making Scotland a more front-footed force on the international stage.
And that formation change was certainly vindicated with a storming finish to the Nations League campaign to set up this play-off against Greece.
But with Tierney fit again, albeit with very limited game time at Arsenal under his belt, his role in the double-header is the subject of considerable debate.
Does Clarke rip up his brave new blueprint to return to the bespoke template which was designed with the sole purpose of accommodating captain Robertson and fellow left-back Tierney?
Or does he do the previously unthinkable and leave Celtic's returning prodigal son watching on from a seat on Scotland's bench?
The question may be familiar but this time it feels the answer is less certain.
"It's not a headache," said Clarke, after touching down in Athens ahead of tonight's first leg.
