Benefits blackhole 'to cost Scots £2bn'

SCOTLAND is facing a £2billion benefits blackhole under the SNP - and hard-working Scots will likely need to pay for this.

The Scottish Government has created a more generous social security system than the rest of the UK. with this partly funded by higher income tax rates.

However, the majority comes from the block grant from the Treasury, calculated using the Barnett Formula to ensure parity with spending down south.
