ANGE POSTECOGLOU left his mark in the corridors of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - now he wants to do the same at the City Ground.

- By Neil Moxley

‘The Australian breezed into his new job as Nuno Espirito Santo’s replacement talking big about returning the glory days to the club.

Postecoglou, 60, referenced “bringing joy to the people” on the back of his last public appearance as he paraded the Europa League trophy to hundreds of thousands of delirious Spurs supporters three months ago.

And the former Celtic boss - who won five major honours in two years at Parkhead - plans to do the same in the East Midlands.

“I want to win trophies,’ he said. “That’s what I’ve done my whole career ~and that’s what I want to try and do at Nottingham Forest.

“From that point of view, looking at the opportunity that exists here what P’ve seen over the last few years since the president [Evangelos Marinakis] took over, those ambitions are backed up with actions.
