ABERDEEN FRONT UP FOR FINAL

ABERDEEN have backed their Red Army by ordering 20,000 tickets for next month's Scottish Cup final against Celtic at Hampden.

The Dons, in the final of the competition for the first time since 2017, will underwrite any unsold tickets for the May 24 showpiece, which will see Celtic bid to clinch the domestic treble.

Aberdeen are looking to bring the trophy back to the Granite City for the first time since 1990 - when they beat the Hoops in the final's first penalty shootout - and Jimmy Thelin's men are counting on a huge Dons support to help cause what would be an upset.
