A CHANGING OF GAARD NEEDED

THELO Aasgaard has provided Rangers supporters with more questions than answers so far this season.
The main one remains can he cut it at Ibrox? Is he capable of handling the pressure of life in Glasgow? Or is he just another signed from England with an inflated reputation and price tag? Rangers fans have asked all of those since his £3.5million arrival from League One Luton Town in July.
The 23-year-old has failed to convince them he's the real deal, despite his regular selection for Norway's national squad alongside superstars Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.
A winning goal against Motherwell in the Premiership certainly isn't going to silence the doubters.
But at least it was some form of response from Aasgaard amid a flurry of criticism early in his Rangers career.
Before Saturday, all he's been known for at Ibrox is a red card against Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup semifinal - and his hair braids.
Even his only previous goal - a stunning strike against Dundee United in a 2-2 draw back in October resulted in him getting flak after he celebrated in front of the home crowd with his hands cupped to his ear.
That was an ill-advised move after a series of indifferent performances in a light blue shirt. After being signed by ex-gaffer Russell Martin, he's failed to shine under new boss Danny Rohl.
