1.3lb Freddie is living proof that 'miracles do happen!'

A BABY weighing 1.3lb has miraculously survived 230 days in hospital and five operations after being born at just 23 weeks.

Home again...Lucy with Freddie

Freddie, and his twin brother Charlie, were born to Lucy Havard, 30, on January 16, 2025 — four months before they were due in May.

Lucy had developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) a condition which affects identical twins who share a placenta and causes a disproportionate blood supply.

She had laser treatment to stop the imbalance but went into labour a week later.

Freddie was born weighing 1.3lb and brother Charlie weighed a little less but sadly passed away a week later.
