PHILADELPHIA, PA, September 30, 2025 The Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation announced at the Reading Terminal Market that the Phambassadors program has surpassed 5,000 sign-ups in just under five months since its launch on April 29, 2025.

The initiative is well on its way to reaching the goal of 10,000 Phambassadors by the end of 2026.
Phambassadors is a movement aimed at empowering Philadelphians to share their civic pride, deepen their knowledge of the city, and promote its rich culture, history, and neighborhoods. The program's goal is to gather more than 10,000 participants to showcase Philadelphia’s cultural and historical significance ahead of and during the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.
