The cords represent God, the groom, and the bride joining together in a powerful covenant.

By keeping the Lord at the center of marriage, demonstrating that each is better together, stronger together, and can weather any storm. When the ceremony came to an end, we danced down the aisle to the upbeat tune by Natalie Cole, “This Will Be.” The entire wedding party danced down the aisle, out of the Chapel. It will always be my special day—Our special day!

Backyard Barbecue: The reception followed with a Backyard Barbecue at our home. The yard was transformed into a beautiful party under a big tent adorned in lavender and silver colored lights and ribbons, all making my dream come true, thanks to Tracy from Timeless Events, who made it her passion to create an unforgettable setting and experience.

But what astonished me was Starlet Wheatley @CreoleLito for Foods Catering donated her company services and provided the entire barbecue for 30 people who attended. Everything was great, from baked beans with pineapples to barbecue chicken, kabobs, hot dogs, and gourmet hamburgers by the family chef and best man, Justin. None of the food would have happened without my Maid of honor and sister, Norma, who met Star on the airplane on her way to Atlanta for wedding preps.
