Oh the Joys of Voting

We have sixty days and some change, and it will be General Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Some of us are still licking hurt feelings from last year's General Election day. All I can tell you is we win some and we lose some. Usually, it depends on which political party you belong to, whether you are pleased with the outcomes on Election Day. Some voters take a longer time than others to recover when a candidate they were supporting and believed to be the best choice for a particular office doesn't win. The thing is, we're all grownups, and we have to take a punch now and then; however, that doesn't translate into giving up.

I still find a great deal of joy in voting, and I hope that others do too. I actually feel powerful on Election Day, like my vote matters, and I remind myself of that. Admittedly, it also feels very good when candidates you voted for come out as winners. Think about the power in voting and think about the joy, the natural high you get, when candidates you really like and that you voted for, win. Then get ready to vote on November 4.
