In a first public rebuke of Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump called on him to halt devastating strikes on Ukraine evn as the latest attacks killed atleast 9 people and injured more than 70.

“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying,” “Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform indicat-ing his growing frustration with the lack of progress in peace talks.
