States deport Pakistani nationals

New Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh are among the states and Union Territories enforcing a directive from the Indian government to deport Pakistani nationals residing in India on short-term visas.

In Maharashtra, 55 Pakistani individuals have been instructed to leave the country by the deadline of 27 April. The state home department highlighted that these nationals are distributed across various cities, including Nagpur, Thane, and Jalgaon. However, Nashik authorities reported six Pakistani women still residing in the city, though they have yet to receive official instructions regarding their deportation.
