Says US President was not releasing the Epstein files because of his involvement in it

Amid a spiralling feud with US President Donald Trump on the latest US Bill, Elon Musk claimed that Trump's name is mentioned "in the Epstein files" and added that it is the "real reason they have not been made public".

Musk stated on X, “Time to drop the really big bomb: Donal Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT.” In another post on X, he said, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”

Before being elected in November, Trump said that he would have “no problem” releasing files related to Epstein, something some lawmakers have demanded on social media following the alleged sex trafficker’s death.
