A MAN who was walking along a footpath was stabbed in the neck with an unknown object when he was targeted by a group of men on Boxing Day in Runcorn.

The incident happened at around 8pm on December 26 as the victim walked along the footpath between Central Expressway and Eagles Way in Palacefields, near Hallwood Park playground in Runcorn.
