Social group set up for adults living with autism

IN RESPONSE to demand, a new social group is being set up by Rochdale Gateway Leisure Service.

Training manager Roxanne Sharp said: “From feedback gathered from the Autism Co production meetings that we host, it became clear that autistic adults who attended the network meetings felt there was nothing socially specifically for adults with autism.

“As a result, we have set up a collaboration with I AM - Celebrating Autism Greater Manchester and they are going to be running social groups.
