Boom bang-a-bang, Eurovision Song Contest Final 2025

(Saturday, BBC1, 8pm) is here! For the 69th time, musical talent from across the continent (and beyond) are gathering to show off their songwriting and performance skills. One nation that participates every year is the UK.

We last triumphed in 1997 when Katrina and the Waves wowed the crowds in Dublin with their performance of Love Shine a Light. Since then it's been disappointment after disappointment.
