Man knocked unconscious in assault

A MAN was attacked and knocked unconscious in an assault at a roundabout in Middleton.

Police said that following enquiries, it is believed the victim, a 62-year-old, was approached from behind and assaulted, causing him to lose consciousness, at the roundabout between Green Lane and Stanycliffe Lane, at around 8.30pm on May 6.
