Appeal after match chaos

POLICE investigating a pitch invasion and disorder at a football match have issued images of seven men they want to speak to.
Greater Manchester Police, issuing an appeal on Wednesday, said supporters 'from both teams' ran onto the pitch at the end of the Rochdale AFC v Spennymoor Town FA Trophy semifinal on April 5. The tie was played at Dale's Crown Oil Arena ground in Spotland.
Police said as well as the pitch invasion after a penalty shootout, disorder took place 'between both sets of supporters inside and outside the ground'.
