A grotto for Easter, not just for Christmas
Retford Times
|February 26, 2026
NEW for this year’s Easter celebrations and taking place from March 28 until April 12, Sundown Adventureland is opening a magical grotto where Eggbert the Easter bunny will be giving out chocolate to each child that visits him while young visitors can also take part in green-fingered activities.
-
The new grotto will complement the annual Easter Eggtravaganza trail, which encourages explorers to spring into action and find Eggbert's hidden eggs secretly stashed away across the many play areas, rides and attractions at the iconic park in addition to some free sweets from the Pumpkin Patch Cafe after completing the trail.
In the Four Seasons Arena, guests can meet and take pictures with Sundown’s iconic bear mascots Honey and Sunny throughout the day, where they'll also lead some dancing sessions for those keen to show off their moves.
The large indoor arena also has ample seating and picnic benches, whilst the inside play areas Crash Landings, Rodeo Corral and the Pumpkin Patch Cafe serve a selection of hot meals, tea, coffee, soft drinks and sweet treats.
