These lines find their living expression in the life of India’s Iron Man — Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose birth anniversary, celebrated on 31st October, marks National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas).

He was a visionary leader who laid the foundation of a united and strong India in the aftermath of independence. Through his unmatched statesmanship, Patel integrated 562 princely states into one nation, transforming the dream of Akhanda Bharat into reality. History stands witness to his perseverance — he personally met each ruler, using dialogue, diplomacy, and unwavering determination to weave them into a single national fabric. Without resorting to violence, purely through faith, logic, and resolve, he accomplished what was once deemed impossible. Even Mahatma Gandhi had once said:
