Additional Director Finance Department inspects the services on Pensioner Sewa Portal

Under the Government Pensioner Sewa Mela started from 1st November 2025 on the directions of Finance Minister Punjab Harpal Singh Cheema, on the second day from 13th to 15th November 2025, Additional Director Treasury and Accounts Branch, Finance Department, Punjab, Chandigarh, Simarjit Kaur inspected the work going on, on the Pension Sewa Portal at District Treasury Office Barnala and thanked the employees of the District Treasury Office, employees of all banks and the Pensioner Association for their commendable participation and cooperation in the fair.

She said, " In future, 4500 government pensioners of Barnala district will soon be made online on the Pension Seva Portal with eKYC and life certificate so that in future the pensioner will not have to visit the bank or treasury office. This is a commendable initiative of the Punjab Government, Finance Department. It is our responsibility to ensure that its benefits reach every pensioner."
