A seminar on "Reasons and Remedies of Family Disintegration" was organized by the Free Family Counseling Cell and the Jan Kalyan Sangathan under the guidance of the Director of both Orgs Dr. Swaraj Grover. The objective of the seminar was to create awareness about the alarming rise in broken families in the present scenario and its adverse consequences.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Kiran Khanna, Professor at D.A.V. College, expressed concern over the changing roles of women in the family-as daughters, daughters-inlaw, mothers-in-law, and mothers-and emphasized the importance of maintaining their ideal role in strengthening family bonds. The Special Guest, Dr. Shelly Jaggi, Professor at B.B.K.D.A.V. College, stated that nuclear families, excessive use of social media, and lack of patience are major factors contributing to family disintegration. She emphasized the need to rediscover Vedic values, Indian culture, and moral teachings found in ancient scriptures. Dr. Jaggi also presented an inspiring selfcomposed poem
