A week of celebrations at Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple

TO HONOUR the auspicious appearance day of Lord Krishna’s elder brother, Balarama, priests at the Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple, in Chatsworth, performed a traditional abhishekamon Saturday, bathing the deities in sacred offerings of yoghurt, milk, ghee, honey and rose water.
This week, the temple will host a series of events in the buildup to the main event, Sri Krishna Janmashtami, which will begin on Saturday at 4.30am with the auspicious mangal arati.
Today (Wednesday) is a special programme for senior citizens, recognising their wisdom and contributions to the community.
