John Sullivan endured a nightmare match at York

Newport County 3 Pompey 0 (EFL Trophy, November 2013) Guy Whittingham's Pompey turned in a shocker of a display, particularly Joe Devera in the home defence.

The visitors were abject, falling 2-0 behind after 19 minutes through some horrendous defending, and never looked likely of finding a way back, even when the Exiles were reduced to 10 men with David Pipe sent off with 22 minutes remaining.

In fact, Justin Edinburgh's man would grab a third in the 83rd minute.

Pompey 0 Accrington 1 (May 2021) The Blues occupied the final League One playoff spot heading into the last match of the season after rallying under Kenny Jackett's replacement Danny Cowley.

One point ahead of rivals Oxford and Charlton, it was in their hands. Cowley sprang a surprise before kickoff
