Clean audit for Capricorn District Municipality

Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) received a clean audit opinion for the financial year 2024/25, following the clean audit of the previous financial year as well as the unqualified audit opinion of the 2022/23 financial year.
This was confirmed by the Auditor-General (AG) during an ordinary council meeting held on Friday when council considered and adopted the annual report for the financial year under review, which ended on June 30.
"This achievement reflects our continued commitment to good governance, accountability and responsible financial management in serving the people of the Capricorn district," municipal spokesperson Jabu Masondo said in a media release.
