Lewis pops in to cafe after surprise Glasto return gig

The Perthshire venue posted a picture of the musician visiting its Gorse Cafe on Monday, June 30.

It said: “Glastonbury on Friday, Comrie Croft on Monday. Thanks for visiting the Croft @lewiscapaldi.”

The 28-year-old ‘Someone You Loved’ singer took two years off following a Glastonbury 2023 performance where he was seen struggling and fans had to finish songs for him.

He took a break to focus on his health but delighted fans by reappearing at the Somerset festival on Friday in a surprise slot.

He fought back the tears several times during Friday's Glastonbury show at Worthy Farm and was met with a deafening roar having taken the stage.

Lewis told the crowd: “The last three years haven't been the best for me. It's been a difficult time.

“This has been my f***ing goal - to get back here doing this.”
