Several artists who helped define Cape Town's vibrant music scene will reunite for one night only on Saturday 28 June at Wittebome Civic Centre in Wynberg. But this isn't just a night of nostalgia, it's a deeply personal fundraiser for the daughter of one of the city's most beloved performers.
Several artists who helped define Cape Town’s vibrant music scene will reunite for one night only on Saturday 28 June at Wittebome Civic Centre in Wynberg. But this isn’t just a night of nostalgia, it’s a deeply personal fundraiser for the daughter of one of the city’s most beloved performers.
The event, styled after the variety shows once popular at venues such as the Luxurama, brings a seasoned line-up together: Leslie Kleinsmith, Waseef Piekaan, Supernova, Devolution, De Ja Vu and Nuraan Boltman, among others.
The programme also includes performances from a dance group and marimba band.
