Verdict is overdue reality check

Our country’s highest court has delivered a long overdue reality check to Nicola Sturgeon and John Swinney whose SNP is in the fevered grip of gender ideology politics.

The devolved SNP government in Edinburgh have spent years peddling the harmful nonsense that anyone should be able to identify as whichever gender they want regardless of the dangers and impact on women’s rights.

They passed a law to give everyone from the age of 16 - including the very worst predatory male sex offenders - the legal right to call themselves a woman and give them access to female-only spaces.

But the Supreme Court has confirmed what everyone in the real world already knows - that a man is a man, a woman is a woman, and biological sex is real.

Common sense has finally prevailed thanks to an incredible group of campaigning Scottish women who would not wheesht when finger-wagging SNP politicians branded them bigots whose views were not valid.
