Legend Fitzpatrick says Saints have been getting better and better every year since manager joined
Tony Fitzpatrick says it is clear St Mirren are progressing every year under Stephen Robinson.
And the Buddies icon feels his club is continuing to move in the right direction - both on and off the pitch.
The former Saints player, manager and chief executive believes that the upturn in results, performances and expectations since Robinson joined in 2022 is not a coincidence.
Throughout this season’s Premiership campaign, the Buddies were able to score more goals, have more shots on target and also create more chances from a dangerous position than in the previous two seasons.
Reflecting on the season himself, Fitzpatrick says he agrees with Robbo that it was successful after a third straight top-six finish was secured.
“Getting in the top six for me is a success,” he told Express Sport. “A wee bit of disappointment at this point because last year was the European celebrations.
