Corey Neilson says that he is “proud” of his team’s effort throughout the season after Glasgow Clan crashed out of the playoffs to Sheffield Steelers.
The English outfit ran out 4-1 winners in Sheffield on Sunday after overcoming a 3-1 deficit, which the Clan secured at Braehead on Friday, to win 5-4 on aggregate.
It now means that the Clan’s season is over.
However, head coach Neilson paid credit to the Steelers after their performance to overcome the first scoreline.
He said: “Yeah, it was a good series. Obviously, we were fantastic on Friday at home in Glasgow.
