Planning application for Barrhead housing

Plans for a new residential development in Barrhead, featuring three and four-bedroom homes, have been submitted to East Renfrewshire Council.

The planning application seeks permission to build 13 houses in Barrhead with vehicular access from Springhill Road, an internal site road and amenity open space.
The site is located at the southern end of Springhill Road and comprises the vacant Springhill House and associated ancillary buildings.
Newbuild developments surround the 6,644 metre-squared location, such as the new houses along Springhill Road and a social housing development on Balgraystone Road.
