A man has appeared in private at court following an incident where a passenger allegedly shouted about a bomb on a flight bound for Glasgow Airport.
Abhay Devdas Nayak made an appearance at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 41-year-old faced a charge under The Air Navigation Order 2016 article 240 which makes it an offence to recklessly or negligently act in a manner likely to endanger an aircraft or anyone within it.
He was also charged with assault.
Nayak, of Luton, Bedfordshire, made no plea and was remanded in custody while the case was committed for further examination.
He will be expected to reappear in the dock within the next seven days.
