Have a say on plans for civic squares

Renfrewshire Council is inviting residents, businesses and community groups to have their say on proposals to revitalise Johnstone's two historic civic squares-Houstoun Square and Ludovic Square-and the connecting Houston Court precinct.

The proposals aim to celebrate the town's rich heritage while creating more welcoming, inclusive and flexible public spaces for people of all ages to enjoy.

Key features include enhanced planting, improved seating and lighting, better connections between the squares and the town hall, and new opportunities for events, play and community activity.
