Cooper says Saints are clicking into gear after late goal blitz seals win

Kate Cooper yesterday saluted her super St Mirren Women after a late goal rush sealed victory over Westdyke Ladies.

It finally all came together for the Buddies who were convincing 4-0 winners in their latest Barclays League One outing on Sunday at Mossedge.

Saints led at the interval through Kaitlyn Irvine.

But they had to be patient to put the game to bed with Helen McLeod's brace either side of a Cara Anderson effort seeing Saints climb to eighth in the table.

Head Coach Cooper believes the result and performance were rewards for trusting the process and believing what they were doing would eventually pay off.
