Purple Army turn around game to seal Challenge Cup win against Dundee in true style
Glasgow Clan proved their resilience after coming from behind and winning in incredible fashion.
Corey Neilson’s side produced a stunning comeback when they forced their Challenge Cup clash with Dundee Stars on Saturday night into overtime after finding themselves 4-2 down.
Stars opened the scoring at the Braehead Arena when Justin Bean picked up a loose puck and tucked it home inside two minutes.
It was 2-0 when Griffin Luce played a puck into the slot and it took a fortunate bounce past Sami Aittokallio against the run of play.
Stars took just 43 seconds of the second period to add a third goal to their tally as Spencer Naas rebounded an attempt from Bean and sent the puck high into the net.
