Claims of 'sewage smell' in high school's classes
Paisley Daily Express
|August 28, 2025
Pupils at an East Renfrewshire high school reportedly walked out of the classroom yesterday amid claims the smell of sewage was making them sick.

It's understood students at St Luke's High in Barrhead suggested a sewage leak within the school grounds was making a number of them feel ill.
One parent, whose son attends the Springfield Road school, told the Express how pupils were apparently being sent home unwell while others were asking their parents if they could go home.
