Campbell hails new GP walk-in clinics

SNP election candidate for Renfrewshire North & Cardonald, Michelle Campbell, has welcomed the announcement that a new walk-in GP clinic will open in Cardonald in June.

The clinic will allow people to see a GP or nurse quickly without the need for an appointment, focusing on urgent, on-the-day primary care needs.

It will be open from 12pm to 8pm, seven days a week, helping patients get the care they need while also easing pressure on GP practices and the A&E department of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
