Bid for drive-through and charging facility

Plans to build a petrol station, electric vehicle charging facility and drive-through restaurant on “derelict” land in Paisley have been submitted to Renfrewshire Council.
EG on the Move has lodged an application for planning permission for the development which has been earmarked for a brownfield site south of St James Interchange.
If given the go ahead, it is thought the proposal could provide an employment boost in the area and lead to the creation of around 45 jobs.
A planning statement, prepared by agent company Ferguson Planning on the applicant's behalf, said the plot represents “vacant and derelict land”.
