Need unity in Parliament for national interest: PM Modi

Describing the monsoon session of Parliament as a victory celebration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the world has witnessed India’s military strength following Operation?Sindoor, with all objectives having met fully.

Speaking to the media ahead of the session, the Prime Minister praised the operation targeting terror bases, noting that India’s delegations of MPs abroad had “exposed” Pakistan on the global stage. He also called on all political parties to come together in Parliament for the national interest. “Today, I want to say that the country has found unity after Operation?Sindoor. Our leaders in Parliament must also stand united,” he said referring to the multiparty delegations that visited 33 global capitals to reach out to the international community to emphasise Pakistan's links to terrorism. PM Modi also praised Operation Sindoor, a military strike carried out on 9 terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
