The role of youth in nation-building is vital and unmatched, said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, extending his heartfelt wishes on the occasion of International Youth Day, observed Tuesday.
Marking the occasion, a state-level independent campaign for the prevention of HIV/ AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) was officially launched at the auditorium of Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG) Medical College, Berhampur.
Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Electronics & IT Minister Mukesh Mahaling graced the inauguration as the chief guest. Emphasising youth empowerment and health protection, the minister stated that the campaign would run from August 12 to October 11, focusing on enhancing grassroots-level awareness around HIV prevention.
