Stranded in Gandhamardhan, 17 Chh’garh tourists rescued

The Odisha Police rescued 17 tourists from Chhattisgarh, who were stranded on the Gandhamardhan Hills due to continuous heavy rainfall, in an overnight operation, officials said Thursday.
There were 13 women and four men in the group, who came here from Sarangarh-laigarh district of Chhattii garh, they said.
Sources said 21 pilgrims from Chhattisgarh had come ona visit to the Nrusinghanath temple under Paikamal block of Bargarh district. They visited the shrine and had darshan of the deity.
