Police crack double murder, nab one

Police have cracked the double murder case that occurred Thursday in Baghapali village under Bheden police station and arrested Nepal alias Naama, 28, the son of one of the deceased Magha alias Madhusudan Bhue, 55. Bodies of two men had been found from a house in the village Thursday.
According to Bheden IIC Sushant Kumar Das, Nepal confessed during police interrogation that he killed Tarani Bag, 35, to avenge the murder of his father Magha. Tarani allegedly killed Magha following a dispute, prompting Nepal to retaliate.
Police have seized several weapons used in the crime, including a bamboo stick, a steel rod, a piece of wooden cot, and a knife. Nepal was produced in court Saturday. As his bail plea was rejected, he was remanded to Bargarh sub ail.
