OES to honour achievers on 44th Foundation Day

The Orissa Environmental Society (OES) will celebrate its 44th foundation day October 25 and present prestigious awards to distinguished individuals from the state for their exceptional contributions to environmental protection and conservation, OES working president Jayakrushna Panigrahi said Tuesday.

The executive committee, in a meeting chaired by president Sundara Narayana Patro, decided to confer the Lifetime Contribution Award on former dean of the College of Engineering and Technology (now OUTR), B Seetaram Patro, in recognition of his overall contributions.
